As our Education Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and implementing new business opportunities through Accredited Study Centres (ATCs) and other partnerships both in the UK and across international markets. As well as managing the existing Accredited Training Centre (ATC) and Gem-A Accredited Practical Provider (GAPP) network, in order to achieve agreed revenue and student growth targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities in the UK and across international markets and develop business cases for agreement by the Senior Management Team
- Create, implement, and measure the success of a strategy to actively develop the ATC and GAPP network, by
- Researching potential new centres
- Identifying centres which could expand their reach
- Building relationships and motivating new centres to join the network
- Create, implement, and measure the success of a strategy to ensure the business suitability of our network of ATCs and GAPPs, in relation to relevant factors such as:
- Quality of teaching
- Student numbers
- Revenue contribution, and
- Preparedness for evolving qualification technology and processes
- Manage the relationships and day-to-day operations of ATCs and Gem-A GAPPs including relationship building and problem management
- Create, implement, and measure a programme to support ATCs in growing their Gem-A student numbers, including suggested marketing activities and collateral
- Manage ATC and GAPP application reviews; providing recommendations to senior management for approval, then providing inductions once approved
- Manage ATC and GAPP cooperation agreements, including ATC annual renewals, and ensuring Gem-A’s strategic objectives and compliance are met. Keep these agreements under review to ensure they continue to reflect good practice and meet Ofqual regulations
- Undertake quality assurance of ATCs in compliance with Ofqual regulation, including quality assurance calls
- Responsible for ATC/GAPP credit control, including annual fees and other payments
- Issuing invoices for WFOE payments (Chinese bank account) and providing information about WFOE bank account for Accounts.
- Responsible for providing and forecasting student numbers and financial data, and reporting/analysis in all ATC and GAPP related matters, including compliance and statistics. Also consolidating education statistics for audits.
- Responsible for reviewing and approving ATC Tutor applications/CVs and ensuring that ATC Tutors are current Gem-A members (FGA or DGA unless otherwise agreed by CEO)
- Responsible for keeping ATC/GAPP information up to date on website, CRM, and in printed material
- Negotiate commercial agreements, as agreed with the Senior Management Team, and support contract discussions prior to signature by the CEO
- Provide regular and timely reports to inform the Senior Management Team
- Work with Senior Management Team and team members to manage and contribute to special projects when needed

Qualifications
