Bartender
Crossbasket Castle is a luxury 5-star hotel and premier event venue on the outskirts of Glasgow. We are looking to recruit experienced Bartenders to join our Lounge, Restaurant, and Events teams.
As a Bartender, you will play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding service in a professional and welcoming environment. Whether serving guests in our lounge and restaurant or supporting weddings, conferences, and private events, you'll take pride in providing an exceptional standard of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up the bar to the highest standards.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, champagne, beers, spirits, and soft drinks.
- Prepare and serve a range of hot beverages.
- Provide professional wine service at weddings, functions, and events.
- Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and organisation of the bar areas.
- Manage stock rotation and ensure bars are well stocked and organised.
- Engage confidently with guests, providing friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service.
- Assist with the preparation, set-up, and service of functions, weddings, and conferences.
- Ensure all licensing, health, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous bartending experience, ideally within a luxury hotel, high-end restaurant, cocktail bar, or high-volume hospitality environment.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Strong product knowledge, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and champagne.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly approach.
- The ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Candidates with experience in luxury hospitality or high-volume operations are highly desirable. However, we also welcome applications from individuals with different hospitality backgrounds who can demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service and a strong knowledge of food and beverage.
