Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various settings, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
- Change bed linens and towels regularly, ensuring freshness and cleanliness
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a tidy environment
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or window washing when required
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or client needs courteously and professionally
Experience
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience in hotel or commercial cleaning environments is advantageous
- Skills in cooking or food preparation are considered a bonus but are not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment usage is desirable
