About Us
The Soul House is a yoga and dance company running a fun, energetic Kids Dance Summer Camp for children aged 4–11. We're looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Dance Teacher to help support the lead instructor and make sure every child has a fun, safe, and confidence-building experience.
About the Role
You'll be assisting with an active day, including:
- Supporting dance warm-ups and helping children learn routines
- Leading and assisting with fun, confidence-building dance games
- Supervising children during lunch and play breaks
- Supporting imaginative storytelling yoga sessions
- Helping with arts & crafts activities
- General supervision and support to ensure children feel safe, included, and have fun throughout the day
About You
- Experience working with children (dance, sports coaching, teaching, or childcare background welcome)
- Confident, friendly, and patient with kids of all abilities and confidence levels
- Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic
- Must be DBS-checked
- Dance experience/background preferred but not essential — enthusiasm and a love of working with children is what matters most!
- Perfect for anyone wanting to get into teaching dance
