We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and providing excellent customer service. Duties
- Monitor entry and exit points to control access and prevent unauthorised entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Use surveillance equipment such as CCTV to observe activity and assist in loss prevention efforts.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary.
- Enforce venue policies and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure safety and orderliness.
- Support loss prevention initiatives by identifying suspicious behaviour or theft attempts.
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential.
- Proven experience in security or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided for suitable candidates.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- First aid certification is desirable but not compulsory.
- Excellent communication skills with a confident and approachable manner.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and manage crowd control effectively.
