We are seeking a well-motivated individual to join our Manufacturing team. This role will provide crucial support to our well-established team by ensuring that orders are received, checked, and inputted with the utmost care, efficiently and in a timely manner. The successful candidate will work in our Thurmaston office, where they will play a vital role in preparing orders for the team for scheduling with the relevant paperwork, and general office admin where needed.
The Manufacturing Administration Assistant role will require a great deal of flexibility for office-based tasks at our Leicester site. You will assist in all aspects of manufacturing admin in an efficient and timely manner.

Purpose of the Position:
The Manufacturing Administration Assistant role will provide essential administrative support to the Manufacturing team, ensuring that manufacturing orders are received, checked, recorded and prepared accurately and efficiently.
The purpose of the role will be to support the smooth progression of orders through the manufacturing process by maintaining accurate records, preparing the relevant paperwork for scheduling, and ensuring that the Manufacturing team has the information required to manage orders effectively.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Manufacturing team, providing general administrative support across all aspects of the department as required. This will include inputting and maintaining order information, preparing documentation, assisting with scheduling administration and supporting the team with general office tasks to ensure that information is accurate, up to date and readily available.
The position will be integral to the smooth running of the Manufacturing operation, helping to ensure that orders are processed in a timely and organised manner and that the relevant information is communicated effectively between the office and workshop teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare sales orders for the manufacturing team, including printing all relevant paperwork and drawings, cross-referencing costs and updating this information on Excel documents, then to be handed over to the correct workshop.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-1pm (Flexibility around working hours)
