We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Housekeeper to join our team here at Kirklands Care based at our Kirklands Care Home in Cockermouth.
Pay: We have an excellent pay rate of £13.30 an hour
Contract: 32 hours per week (4 days over a 7-day period, as agreed with the manager)
We are looking for a compassionate and hardworking housekeeper, to organise and provide cleaning services within the service in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations and in line with accepted best practices

Key Responsibilities:
- To provide leadership to the domestic cleaning and laundry functions of the service
- Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery
- To supervise the cleaning and laundry services within the service in accordance with agreed standards · Implement actions to meet and maintain cleaning standards
- Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise
- Evaluate standards of cleaning competence
- Ensure the service users’ rights are protected
- Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
