The Ritz Showbar & Restaurant is looking for a passionate, reliable and experienced Business Manager to join our growing business and fully manage and supervise the bar, restaurant and function suites. This is a key management position within a growing hospitality business, with responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the venue and leading the team to maintain high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train and manage staff
- Create staff rotas and manage daily staffing requirements
- Oversee opening, closing and daily operations
- Manage stock levels, supplier orders and deliveries
- Control stock usage, waste and demand
- Book and coordinate events and functions
- Oversee customer service and handle complaints when required
- Monitor daily sales and payment transactions
- Maintain licensing, health & safety and company standards
- Oversee cleanliness, presentation and maintenance of the premises
- Lead the team during busy services and events
- Work closely with the Director on business operations and development
Requirements
- 5+ years' business or hospitality management experience OR a relevant university degree
- Previous management experience within a bar, restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of stock control, ordering and hospitality operations
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and events
- Passionate, reliable and professional
- Personal Licence preferred
