Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience in the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems.
The successful candidate will work across commercial and industrial properties, carrying out planned maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, and installations on a variety of HVAC equipment.

Duties
- Install, commission, and test air conditioning units in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals, performing repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Lead maintenance teams during complex equipment repairs or system upgrades, providing guidance and supervision.
- Repair, replace, or upgrade components such as compressors, fans, filters, and thermostats.
- Analyse system performance data to identify potential issues before they result in failure or inefficiency.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new build projects to ensure HVAC systems are correctly integrated into building plans.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning systems, equipment repair, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise junior staff or team members effectively.
- Knowledge of construction processes related to HVAC installation projects.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues using technical manuals and schematics efficiently.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC engineering or refrigeration technology are highly desirable.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification.

Pay: £38,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
