Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the reception area efficiently, ensuring smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing clear information and directing inquiries appropriately
- Assist dental practitioners during procedures by preparing instruments, maintaining sterilization standards, and supporting clinical tasks
- Ensure patient records are accurate, up-to-date, and securely stored in compliance with data protection regulations
- Provide exceptional patient care by offering reassurance, explaining treatment plans, and addressing concerns with professionalism
- Manage administrative duties such as processing payments, updating patient details, and handling correspondence
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas and reception space to uphold health and safety standards
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Proven organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Basic IT literacy for scheduling appointments, updating records, and using practice management software
- Knowledge of patient care principles within a healthcare setting is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independence
