Responsibilities
- Safely handle materials through picking, packing, stocking, and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment to load, unload, and move heavy items efficiently.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by properly storing items and adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and mechanical operation.
- Support stock replenishment efforts by stocking shelves accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment or similar logistics setting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery is highly desirable; certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
- Strong understanding of materials handling, shipping & receiving procedures, and quality control processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, load, unload, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
