Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our New team. Working with the clubhouse and grounds of the old bristolians sports club, you'll help serve behind the bar, serve food on match days or help serve hot drinks and snacks from our pitch side unit.
Offering a relaxed and fun environment, while delivering great levels of hospitality this role may suit someone looking for their first bar role or someone looking for a role within a sports facility
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service delivery.
