Semi-Independent Support Worker Trinity Healthcare is a provider of Home care and Supported Living accommodation in London and the surrounding areas. We are looking for Support Workers with proven experience to support and impact the lives and behaviours of Looked After Children and Care Leavers aged 16 to 24 years of age within a mixed home and standalone units. Ideal Candidates must possess:
- Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or an equivalent qualification
- Ability to use their own initiative but be a great team player which compliments our extended family style dynamics.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills, whilst being empathetic
- Have technical and working knowledge of safeguarding children and other relevant policies
- Be able to engage with young people and professionals alike in a calm and professional manner and highly proficient in the use of IT and MS Office
You will be responsible for updating Support Plans, Risk assessments, Daily Logs, emailing professionals and produce comprehensive weekly/monthly reports. Other duties will involve Key Work Sessions both within and outside of the placement, supporting Educational and Employment needs and accessing external services that the young people may require.
