Job Overview
Cygnia Maintenance are the UK's top provider of signage maintenance and safety checks. We support businesses all over the Uk with a fleet of 30 vehicles that visit sites and maintain signage for various sectors including household names.
At present customer services are a team of three (Customer Service Manager and 2 Advisors) we are looking for someone to join us who can assist in covering one of our colleagues going on Maternity Leave. This role is expected to last a minimum of 6 months but may be longer. Other vacancies may also become available so this is a great opportunity to get involved in a successful and local employer.
Main Duties - but not limited to
Answering Customers Questions
There are high volumes of calls from clients and field engineers that need to be managed and dealt with via various communication methods.
Enquiries can be via e-mail or phone but phone is preferred. There will be a lot of liaising with other departments to get an answer and therefore the ability to create good working relationships is key
Updating our customers with regards to status of jobs and projects
One of the key tasks for the customer service team is keeping to service levels and response times as paid for by our customers. This involves logging new job requests. Keeping our customers happy is key!
Resolving Problems And Fixing Technical Issues
Customer service representatives in facilities management companies have a significant role in resolving product or service-related issues and managing expectations. To be proactive regular running of duplicate checks against internal and external systems is also required.
Keeping Customers Updated
The primary objective is to assist customers with the company's offerings and ensure customer satisfaction. In order to do this, customers will be kept updated as to their query as much as possible.
Handling Customer Complaints
Dealing with unsatisfied customers and handling their complaints also comes under the role of this department. As the first point of contact for customers it is up to this team to handle complaints effectively. Therefore, excellent communication, listening skills, and a knack for positive dialogue to ensure that customers leave with their concerns resolved.
Gathering Feedback
Gathering feedback is also a pivotal aim of customer services to constantly improve and evolve. Not only from clients but also for internal customer service.
Assisting other teams and departments
Due to the fast-moving nature of the business everyone is expected to help out when needed and assist with activities to support the business.
Excellent communication skills are required and there will be a test at interview.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: £26,436.00-£26,500.00 per year
