I am supporting a well-established care home in beautiful West Cornwall in recruiting a compassionate and motivated Care Home Manager to lead its next chapter. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Care Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager who feels ready to step into a leadership role where people, quality care, and community sit at the heart of everything.

Responsibilities:
As Care Home Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping the culture and success of the service by:
- Leading, inspiring, and developing a committed care team
- Ensuring exceptional, person-centred dementia care is delivered every day
- Overseeing care planning, medication management, and service quality
- Maintaining high standards of compliance and CQC performance
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and the wider community
- Creating an environment where colleagues feel engaged, supported, and empowered
- Driving continuous improvement and helping the service reach its full potential
Requirements:
We're looking for someone who combines strong leadership with genuine compassion.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience as a Care Manager, Deputy Manager, or in a senior leadership role within adult social care
- NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care, or a willingness to work towards it
- A good understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards
- The ability to motivate and develop teams while leading by example
- A passion for delivering outstanding dementia care
- Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
- A person-centred approach and a commitment to making a positive difference
