Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and develop a team of support workers, including one-to-one supervision and team meetings
- Coordinate rotas and monitor staffing levels to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service
- Support client care planning, risk assessments and health & safety duties
- Complete monthly quality assurance checks and ensure records are appropriately maintained
- Liaise with other professionals, attend reviews and prepare reports
You should have:
- Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 Apprenticeship or equivalent, or a willingness to complete this
- Level 2 Maths and English, or the ability to pass an assessment as part of the selection process
- Experience leading or supervising a team, with strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to plan, review and develop packages of support, and to identify and manage risk
- A kind, compassionate and flexible approach, with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including shifts & some weekends
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults receiving care & support
-Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults & CQC Standards
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
