Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Log Cabin Installer and bring rustic charm to life! In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the precise assembly and installation of log cabins, ensuring each structure meets quality standards and client expectations. Your expertise will help transform raw materials into beautiful, durable homes that stand the test of time. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions to ensure accurate assembly of log cabins.
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting foundation supports for optimal stability.
- Assemble logs and structural components using appropriate tools, techniques, and safety procedures.
- Ensuring correct use of company equipment & tools
- Coordinate with team members to complete installations efficiently while maintaining high safety standards.
- Inspect completed structures for quality assurance, verifying alignment, stability, and finish details.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during installation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry, construction, or log cabin installation preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand construction plans thoroughly.
- Familiarity with tools such as saws, drills, levels, and measuring devices; experience with ohmmeters is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy logs, work at heights, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise assembly and safety compliance.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.

Working Pattern & Travel
- Monday to Friday, UK-wide travel
- Regular overnight stays during the working week
- Company vehicle provided for site work
- Paid overtime for hours worked beyond contracted hours
- Opportunity to have 4 day working week between May & September

Progression Opportunities within Norwegian Log
- Due to continued growth there will be opportunities to fast track into a higher position of Team Leader with full training provided. Salary would rise to £40,000 to £45,000, Company Van and increased annual leave.
