Steel Erector

Due to continued growth, Hanson Buildings Ltd is looking to recruit a Steel Erector to join our experienced installation team.
Based at our depot in Featherstone, West Yorkshire, you will be responsible for the installation of a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial steel buildings at customer sites across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working as part of a professional team.
The Role
- Installation of steel buildings and associated components.
- Working nationwide at customer sites.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest standard.
- Working closely with the installation team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Maintaining a clean and professional working environment on site.
About You
- Previous experience in steel erection, construction, cladding, roofing or a similar trade is desirable but not essential.
- A valid FLT and/or HIAB/Crane licence would be advantageous.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn, with full training provided where required.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including 1–2 overnight stays per week.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
