Hairdresser / Hair Stylist
We are looking for a friendly, talented and motivated Hairdresser / Hair Stylist to join our growing salon team on a self-employed, commission-based basis.
The position will initially be part-time, with the opportunity to progress to full-time as your client base and bookings grow.
Pay
40% commission on services, paid weekly.
This is a self-employed position, giving you the opportunity to build a busy column without the commitment of traditional chair rental.
The Role
We are looking for someone who loves hair, enjoys working with clients and wants to be part of a supportive salon team.
Your role will include:
- Cutting, colouring, styling and finishing hair
- Providing professional consultations
- Creating beautiful, personalised results for clients
- Building relationships and encouraging repeat bookings
- Recommending suitable services, treatments and products
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism
- Working alongside our hair, beauty and aesthetics team
- Supporting salon promotions, offers and events
- Helping create social media content and showcasing your work
- Working towards building a strong, regular client base
Who We’re Looking For

- Qualified in Hairdressing
- Confident in cutting, colouring and styling
- Friendly, professional and reliable
- Passionate about hair and delivering great client results
- Motivated to build their own busy column
- Comfortable recommending services and rebooking clients
- Happy to work as part of a team
- Keen to continue learning and developing their skills
- Trained in hair extensions would be beneficial, training can be given
You do not need to already have a huge client base. We are looking for someone motivated to grow with the salon, and we will work together to help generate bookings and build your clientele.

Pay: £400.00-£1,600.00 per week
