Summary
Viridian Solar is a leader in the manufacture, design, and supply of roof-integrated solar panels. As we enter a new phase of expansion we are looking for a motivated Technical Sales Advisor to join our growing Design Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team who provide a unique service to a customer base ranging from National Housebuilders to retrofit homeowners.
You’ll play a key role in supporting our customers with the design and specification of solar PV systems. If you’re ambitious, detail-oriented and eager to learn, we’ll provide the training, support and opportunities to help you develop.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, customer interaction and independent working. Experience in Technical Design/Renewables Energy/AutoCAD is valued, but not essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Create PV design specifications to customer requirements
- Review and create architectural/technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Advise customers by understanding and clarifying their project needs
- Use product knowledge to answer technical questions
- Prepare technical documentation
- Coordinate with the sales team to complete design packages
- Maintain accurate project information within our customer database
- Build customer relationships
- Opportunity for external meetings/presentations.
About you:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good level of maths
- Microsoft Office (Particularly Excel)
- An interest in technical design (AutoCAD experience a bonus)
- Collaborative and approachable manner
- Organised and able to manage multiple projects in a structured way
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive and willing to learn

Pay: £26,300.00-£32,000.00 per year
