Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently, confirming patient details and coordinating with healthcare providers to optimize daily clinic operations.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries appropriately and providing accurate information about services and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records, update electronic health records (EHR) systems, and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing paperwork to support clinical staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient flow and ensure timely service delivery.
- Handle basic billing and insurance documentation, supporting the financial aspects of patient care.
Qualifications
- Prior office experience or administrative experience is highly desirable, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that fosters trust and rapport.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent systems; experience with electronic health records is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly and compassionately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
