Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cover Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a high standard of cleanliness commercial premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas are hygienic, organised, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness standards according to company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor.
- Follow designated schedules to ensure all areas are cleaned within specified timeframes.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times to create a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

This vacancy is to cover staff holidays and sicknesses- working 2 days a week , for 2 hours a day .
Pay: £12.71 per hour
