Overview
Xyntra is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team in Harlow, Essex.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and manufacture of water-based polymer dispersions on a laboratory scale and supporting the development and evaluation activities carried out by our team of application scientists.
Duties
- Prepare and manufacture water-based polymer dispersions according to established laboratory procedures.
- Accurately record experimental data and observations.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Assist application scientists with product development and evaluation programs.
- Follow and assist in all laboratory quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Requirements
- A sound understanding of chemistry (formal qualifications in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline would be advantageous).
- A diligent, methodical, and organised approach to work.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate results.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous laboratory experience is desirable.
