Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter/ Cleaner to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and front of house by maintaining cleanliness and supporting our culinary staff. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the hospitality and culinary sectors. You will be required to work both day, evening and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and other areas, including toilets and storage areas.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly to support the cooking process
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, or other hospitality settings is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
