About the Role
Birmingham is a city built on innovation, and at O7 Services Ltd, we believe that great technology is only as effective as the people who know how to use it. We deliver practical IT solutions that empower businesses to work smarter, and we're looking for an IT Trainer who can transform technical knowledge into engaging learning experiences.
This isn't simply a training role—you'll become the bridge between technology and people. You'll help employees and clients build confidence with software, systems, and digital tools through interactive, well-structured training sessions. Whether you're introducing new technologies, supporting system rollouts, or developing learning materials, you'll play a key role in helping others succeed.
Why Work With Us?
Supportive Environment: Our Birmingham team values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. You'll work alongside experienced IT professionals who are passionate about technology and helping others grow.
Professional Development: We encourage ongoing learning and provide opportunities to expand your technical knowledge, training skills, and professional certifications as technology continues to evolve.
Modern Technology: You'll deliver training across current business technologies, Microsoft 365 applications, cloud-based platforms, collaboration tools, and business software used by modern organisations.
Meaningful Impact: Every training session you deliver helps individuals become more productive, confident, and successful in their roles. Your work directly contributes to the success of both our clients and our business.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery: Design and deliver engaging instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on IT training sessions for employees and clients with varying technical abilities.
Learning Content Development: Create, update, and maintain training manuals, presentations, user guides, e-learning resources, and supporting documentation that make technical concepts easy to understand.
Technology Adoption: Support the rollout of new software, systems, and digital tools by developing effective training programmes that encourage user adoption and confidence.
Learner Support: Assess participant progress, answer technical questions, provide constructive feedback, and adapt your teaching style to accommodate different learning needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure all training materials remain accurate, relevant, and aligned with organisational objectives.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics, recommending improvements that enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous experience delivering IT, technical, software, or corporate training within a professional environment.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, business applications, computer hardware, networking fundamentals, and general IT best practices.
Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Content Creation: Experience developing professional training materials, instructional guides, presentations, and learning resources.
Organisation: Excellent planning and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple training sessions and projects simultaneously.
Mindset: You're patient, approachable, and passionate about helping others learn. You enjoy simplifying complex technology, encouraging learner confidence, and continuously improving your own knowledge to stay ahead of evolving IT trends.
