Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee bar operations within a vibrant hospitality environment. Duties
- Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to company standards
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and quality in all offerings
- Manage the bar team, including scheduling, training, and motivating staff to achieve performance targets
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the bar
- Assist in food production tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Serve beverages and food items to customers with professionalism and courtesy
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively
- Organise staff shifts and delegate responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency during all service hours
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience in serving beverages and food in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership qualities with excellent organisational abilities
- Good understanding of hospitality operations and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen experience advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and high standards
