Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate GDC registered Dental Nurse or trainee dental nurse to join our team on a full-time / part-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within a dental practice and have a special interest in oral health hygiene.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to uphold health and safety standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure seamless patient experiences.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
Skills
- A background in nursing or relevant qualifications that enhance your ability to provide care.
- Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems efficiently.
- Exceptional organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage multiple tasks effectively.
