Pain & Movement Coach (Physiotherapist)
Location: Remote (UK)
Hours: Part-time, flexible
Start Date: September 2026
Help us redefine how people age.
At Get In Good Nick, we believe getting older should never mean accepting pain, frailty or losing your independence.
Yet millions of adults are told that aching knees, stiff hips, bad backs and slowing down are simply "part of getting older."
We don't believe that.
We’re building the UK's most trusted health coaching company, helping adults live stronger, healthier and more independent lives through expert coaching, education and personalised support.
Every day we help members build strength, improve balance, lose weight and regain confidence through our structured coaching programmes. But as we've grown, one thing has become increasingly clear.
Some people simply need more personalised support.
That's why we're launching Get In Good Nick Personal Coaching, our new one-to-one coaching service for members who need specialist guidance beyond our core programme.
We're looking for an exceptional Physiotherapist to become one of the founding specialists within that service.
This isn't a traditional clinic role.
You won't spend your day rushing between treatment rooms or seeing thirty patients.
Instead, you'll build genuine relationships with members online, helping them overcome pain, move with confidence again and return to doing the things they love.
Whether that's walking with grandchildren, getting back on holiday, gardening without discomfort or simply climbing the stairs without fear, you'll play a meaningful role in changing lives.
The Role
You'll work directly with members who require additional support because of pain, injury or complex movement limitations.
Many will be living with conditions such as:
- Osteoarthritis
- Persistent knee, hip or back pain
- Shoulder problems
- Reduced mobility
- Joint replacements
- Balance concerns
- Fear of movement
Through virtual consultations you'll assess their needs, identify barriers, develop personalised rehabilitation plans and guide them through practical, evidence-based solutions.
Rather than simply treating symptoms, you'll help members build confidence, resilience and long-term independence.
You'll also work closely with our wider coaching team, alongside nutrition coaches, exercise specialists and medical professionals, ensuring every member receives joined-up support rather than fragmented care.
Who We're Looking For
Qualifications matter.
But we're looking for much more than clinical expertise.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys coaching people.
Someone who can simplify complex problems, build trust quickly and motivate people who may have spent years believing nothing can improve.
The ideal person is someone who combines excellent clinical reasoning with outstanding communication skills.
Someone who understands that confidence is often just as important as exercise prescription.
You should be comfortable assessing movement remotely, adapting programmes around real-world limitations and helping adults make steady, sustainable progress.
Most importantly, you'll genuinely care about helping people enjoy the next twenty or thirty years of their life.
Essential Experience
- HCPC registered Physiotherapist.
- Strong musculoskeletal experience.
- Confident delivering consultations remotely.
- Experience working with adults aged 40+, ideally 50+.
- Excellent exercise prescription skills.
- Comfortable creating personalised rehabilitation plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Bonus Experience
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Healthy ageing
- Persistent pain
- Osteoarthritis
- Falls prevention
- Behaviour change coaching
- Online coaching
- Creating educational content
- Working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Why Join Get In Good Nick?
