Thistle Suites - Front Office Agent
At Thistle Suites, we are all about creating amazing stays for guests seeking comfort, convenience, and a seamless experience. As we grow we are looking for a friendly, service driven Front Office Agent to be the face of our property and help us deliver unforgettable guest experiences.
If you love meeting new people, problem solving and being part of a fast paced hospitality team, this could be the perfect role for you. As the first person our guests meet you will be helping them to make the most of their time in the city.
What you will be doing:
- Welcoming guests and supporting with check ins and check outs
- Helping guests navigate our tech friendly experience, including the Thistle Suites app and self service features
- Managing reservations, changes, and cancellations with attention to detail
- Communicating with guests in person, over the phone, by email, and through digital platforms
- Handling questions, requests and any issues seeing them through to resolution
- Processing payments and keeping guest records accurate and secure
- Keeping the front desk and guest areas clean, organised, and inviting
- Working closely with housekeeping and maintenance to make sure rooms and facilities are guest ready
- Jumping in to support back of house tasks when needed (inventory checks, minor troubleshooting, quality checks, etc.)
- Supporting leadership with admin tasks and helping us continuously improve the guest experience
- Supporting other local properties if required
What we are looking for:
- Someone friendly, positive, and naturally service minded
- A great communicator who enjoys talking with guests both face to face and digitally
- A proactive problem solver as a 'can do' approach
- Organised, detail oriented and comfortable multitasking
- Confident using computers, hotel systems, and mobile apps
- A team player who can also work independently
- Flexible with working evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous hotel or customer service experience is a bonus - but not essential, as we will train the right person
- Additional language skills are a big plus
