Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff, available Friday-Sunday, with extra hours avaiable during the week to cover holidays and sickness when required, to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our bar service, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy engaging with customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is well-stocked and in good working order.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when requested.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing.
- Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible service of alcohol, adhering to licensing laws and regulations.
- Assist in the training of new staff members, sharing knowledge of drink preparation and bar operations.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss service improvements and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- A valid personal licence or willingness to obtain one is advantageous.
