Job Summary:
NMD Engineering Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Performance Manager to help engineering teams achieve consistent, measurable results across projects and technical activities. This role will focus on understanding performance, strengthening delivery practices, and giving engineering leaders clear information to support better operational decisions.
What You'll Do:
- Establish practical measures for engineering delivery and operational performance
- Review project results, technical workloads, and delivery trends
- Work with engineering leads to understand performance gaps and priorities
- Develop dashboards and reports covering key engineering activities
- Monitor progress against agreed targets and improvement actions
- Analyse delays, recurring issues, and areas affecting team productivity
- Coordinate performance reviews across engineering workstreams
- Support resource and capacity discussions using operational data
- Recommend practical changes to improve engineering delivery
- Help standardise reporting and performance practices across teams
- Present key findings and improvement priorities to management
Requirements:
- Experience in engineering operations, project delivery, performance management, technical services, business analysis, or a related field
- Strong analytical and organisational abilities
- Good understanding of engineering or technical working environments
- Ability to interpret operational and project information
- Confident communication with engineers, managers, and other stakeholders
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, reporting platforms, and business systems
- Ability to identify trends and translate information into practical actions
- Management or engineering leadership experience is advantageous but not essential
- Engineering, technical, business, or related qualifications are welcomed alongside relevant practical experience
