PMO - Public Sector Team.
Reporting to the Public Sector Director
We're looking for a Public Sector PMO Manager to help shape and drive programme delivery across our growing Public Sector portfolio.
This is a pivotal role, responsible for establishing and leading the PMO function, ensuring programmes and projects are governed effectively, risks are managed, resources are optimised and stakeholders have the insight needed to make informed decisions.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and develop the Public Sector PMO, embedding governance, controls and best practice.
- Support portfolio planning, prioritisation and resource management.
- Monitor programme performance, managing risks, issues and dependencies.
- Produce high-quality reporting, analysis and assurance for senior leaders and governance boards.
- Coordinate governance forums, communications and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Build strong relationships across operational, commercial, finance, digital, communications and bid teams.
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and process enhancement.
- Support budget management, forecasting and financial reporting.
What we're looking for
- Experience operating within a PMO, programme or project management environment.
- Strong organisational, planning and stakeholder management skills.
- A confident communicator, able to influence and engage at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insight.
- Experience managing governance, reporting, risk and performance measures.
- Knowledge of public sector delivery environments and assurance processes would be advantageous.
A proactive, improvement-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
