HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver - Access Equipment / Plant

Job Purpose:
HGV delivery driving will require you to deliver and operate plant and powered access equipment using a low loader lorry. Your deliveries, loading and unloading must be completed accurately and on time.
Delivery runs are predominantly in and around the South East although National trips are required on occasions.
You will be required to; use a tablet and complete paperwork in an orderly fashion, carry out vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA regulations and have the ability to resolve any on-site issues wherever possible.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a professional hands on approach with delivery and collections and operation of powered access equipment. Be willing to work unusual hours including variable start and finish times, weekend working and occasional nights.
No overnight stays required for this role.
Experience:
- Experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver
- Low loader driving would be beneficial
- Operating plant or powered access equipment would be advantageous
Qualifications:
- HGV Class 2
- Full drivers CPC training
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Valid CSCS card an advantage
- IPAF would be advantageous although training will be given using our in-house training centre
