Multi-Trader – Social Housing (Aids & Adaptations) – Temporary, Long term work

Hours: 3 days per week
We are currently looking for an experienced Multi-Trader to join a social housing contractor working on an Aids & Adaptations contract.
This is a temporary position working 3 days per week, carrying out a variety of adaptations within occupied social housing properties to help improve accessibility and independent living for tenants.
The Role
You'll be responsible for completing a range of adaptation works, including:
- Installation and replacement of shower trays.
- Building and altering internal and external access steps.
- General bathroom adaptations.
- Minor carpentry, plumbing and associated multi-trade repairs.
- Fitting grab rails, handrails and other accessibility aids.
- Carrying out high-quality finishing works.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while working in occupied homes.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Multi-Trader within social housing, maintenance or property services.
- Experience carrying out aids and adaptations is highly desirable.
- Competent across a range of trades, including plumbing and general building works.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own tools and vehicle preferred (if applicable).
- Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes.
