Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Production / General Assistant and play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing and production operations. You will be hands-on with production of sausage, burgers etc all made in house, equipment maintenance, and general tasks that keep our operations running seamlessly. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of mixes for sausage and burger production.
- Training will be provided on the machinery
- Support the setup and breakdown of workstations, ensuring all equipment and materials are organized and ready for use.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and tools, performing basic maintenance or reporting issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Handle warehouse tasks such as receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, and preparing materials for production runs.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all activities, including proper handling of tools and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the workspace to promote efficiency and safety at all times.
Experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling materials and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
You must be a strong team player, flexible to work to a rota (must be available weekends). This can be a fast paced environment.
Pay: £25,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
