Head of Cleaning

Hours are 25hrs a week,
9am to 2pm: Pay: £13.30 per hour
About the Role.
Garrett House Residential Home Limited is looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Cleaning to join our team as soon as possible. You will lead the housekeeping function, ensuring the home is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection prevention, creating a safe and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and support the cleaning team. Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout the home. Ensure compliance with COSHH regulations and infection prevention and control procedures. Manage cleaning schedules, stock levels and ordering of cleaning supplies. Complete cleaning records and ensure health and safety procedures are followed. Work closely with the management team to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Essential Requirements
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping supervisory experience. Good knowledge and practical experience of COSHH regulations. Understanding of infection prevention and control within a care environment. Reliable, organised and able to lead by example. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
