We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar and Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Take orders efficiently and accurately, providing friendly and attentive service to all guests
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
- Prepare and set up tables, ensuring a clean and organised dining area
- Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including specials and dietary options
- Ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly and courteously, addressing any concerns or complaints professionally
- Support colleagues in maintaining a welcoming environment by working collaboratively
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is desirable training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Basic maths skills for processing payments accurately
- Experience in kitchen environments or culinary roles can be an asset but is not mandatory
