Immediate start! We are seeking experienced and reliable self employed cleaners to join our growing team. As part of our friendly and dynamic cleaning team you will be required to carry out cleaning of a home building site, a total of 120 homes based in Landkey, Barnstaple.
Owning your own transport is essential.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role (essential!), and own a CSCS card, have keen attention to detail, be highly motivated and is determined to provide the highest standard of cleaning every single time. This role is available on a self employed basis, however we will be able to provide you with a minimum of 16 hours of work per week at a rate of £14.50/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare properties to high standards adhering to detailed checklists.
- Thorough cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, game rooms and living rooms other areas as requested.
- Clean and disinfect all surfaces
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Vacuum and mop floors.
- Ensure all areas are immaculately clean
- Report any damages, maintenance requirements, or possible improvements.
- Take before and after photos and videos of each property.
- Follow safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Own transport is essential as you will need to carry the cleaning equipment with you.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high standard with every clean completed.
- Good communication skills are essential and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and good critical thinking skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job.
- Ideally - flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, often at short notice (ideally 1-2 days).
- Have a smartphone (e.g. Apple iPhone or Android) with WhatsApp and the ability to take clear detailed photos and videos, where needed.

Schedule:
- Your schedule will vary, but you will be required to have availability for a full 6 hours work/week to carry on with the welfare clean plus an additional of 10-16 hours for site homes, depending on how the building progresses.
- Shifts may be scheduled on any day of the week, covering both weekday and weekend shifts - please highlight your availability in your application.
