Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our specialist Sensory Occupational Therapy team, working across Kirklees as part of the wider Children’s Expert Team.
You will play a key role in delivering and embedding high-quality sensory OT support within Woodley Special School and/or supporting children with sensory needs in mainstream and virtual school settings, depending on your experience and interests.
The service supports children and young people up to the age of 19 and works closely with education providers and partner agencies to ensure coordinated, child-centred care.
This is a flexible, 15-hour-per-week Band 7 role, offering the opportunity to shape your working pattern around your needs while making a meaningful impact. With potential to increase hours in this exciting growing team.
For the right candidate, there is the potential to join the team at Band 6 and be supported to complete the necessary sensory training to become a highly specialised Occupational Therapist in sensory practice.
