Support Worker – Share Care (CoOptions)
South Denbighshire – Ruthin, Corwen, Denbigh & Llangollen
£12.71 per hour
Full-time | Part-time considered
Mainly Monday–Friday daytime hours
No regular evenings or overnight shifts

At CoOptions Share Care, you'll support adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible and enjoy the life they choose.
Every person we support is different, which means no two days are the same. Some days you may be supporting someone in their own home, while on others you'll be out in the community enjoying activities together.
This is not a single-site position. You must be able and willing to travel throughout South Denbighshire, including areas such as:
Ruthin | Corwen | Denbigh | Llangollen and surrounding areas
You will travel to the homes of the people we support and may also accompany them on community outings and appointments therefore a full UK driving licence and access to your own reliable vehicle are essential for this role.
What will you be doing?
Your role could include:
- Supporting people with their daily routines
- Helping people build confidence and develop everyday life skills
- Supporting with shopping, cooking and household tasks
- Going for a coffee, to the cinema or taking part in activities together
- Accompanying people to appointments
- Helping people stay connected with their local community
- Supporting people to develop independence and make their own choices
- Providing personal care where required, always with dignity and respect
What we're looking for:
We're looking for caring, reliable and positive people who genuinely want to make a difference.
You will need to:
- Be 18 years of age or over
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Have access to your own vehicle
- Be willing and able to travel throughout South Denbighshire
- Be able to communicate effectively in English – this is essential for the role
- Welsh language skills are desirable
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be able to demonstrate a caring, respectful and person-centred approach

Previous experience in care or supporting people with learning disabilities is preferred, but it isn't everything. Your attitude, values and willingness to learn are just as important. We'll provide the training and support you need to develop in your role.
