Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic/Fast Fit Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine work, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and fluid replacements.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, equipment repair, and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist customers by explaining repair procedures, providing advice on vehicle care, and ensuring their satisfaction with services rendered.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each vehicle serviced.
- Support the team in equipment repair and routine maintenance to keep the workshop running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on various vehicle makes and models.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic systems used in automotive repair.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely during repairs or parts handling.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Prior experience in a fast-fit or automotive workshop environment is preferred but not mandatory.
