Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a lively environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Serve drinks and food efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Restock supplies and manage stock levels to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and handle any queries or complaints professionally
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Knowledge of serving techniques and customer service best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt as needed
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required
