Salary: £36,000 - £38,000pa
Whitworth Hall is a stunning country estate hotel and wedding venue set in the heart of County Durham. Known for its heritage and now part of The Apartment Group, we are now looking for an exceptional AGM to lead Whitworth Hall into its next chapter.
The Role:
We are looking for a passionate, service led AGM to assist with the day to day running of Whitworth Hall. You will lead from the front, inspiring the teams and driving standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering outstanding guest experience at every touchpoint
· Controlling costs across the business
· Setting and maintaining high service and presentation standards
· Overseeing weddings and high-value events from enquiry through to delivery
· Ensuring all health & safety, licensing and compliance standards are met
This is a visible, hands-on role – you will be present in the business, supporting your team and engaging with guests, working closely with the General Manager to maintain and drive standards. In the absence of the GM, you will assume full responsibility for the venue.
About You:
We are looking for an Assistant General Manager with a background in:
· Luxury or boutique hotels
· Wedding venues, destination venues or event-led hospitality
