Care Assistants needed for Nower House, our Dorking Care Home.
The Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society is a charity offering excellent care for older people and the roles involve provision of hands-on care to our elderly residents.
Shifts available: 24 hours & 12 hours per week with alternate weekends.
Qualifications Required
- Previous experience (desirable, not essential)
- Has right to work in the UK (essential - we do not offer sponsorship to work in the UK)
Duties
We offer our residents the very highest standards of care. In this role you will support residents’ daily needs. This will include giving medication, washing, dressing, toileting and incontinence care, assisting at meal times and supporting residents with their mobility.
Pay
£13.40 per hour without experience* (increasing to £13.45 per hour on completion of the Care Certificate) with an hourly uplift of £2.00 at weekends. *Pay rate is £14.20 per hour with an NVQ2 in Health and Social Care and a Care Certificate.
