Yard Operative (Day Shift) – Rosyth Monday to Thursday
We’re opening a brand-new Had Fab yard in Rosyth and looking for a Yard Operative to join us from day one and help shape how it runs.
If you enjoy hands-on work, being outdoors, and keeping things organised, this could be the role for you. You’ll be working with large fabricated steel structures supporting major UK infrastructure and energy projects
This is your chance to be part of something new and grow with it from the ground up.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll help manage steel coming into the Rosyth yard and prepare it for delivery.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Receiving deliveries from our Tranent site and suppliers
- Safely unloading vehicles (training provided)
- Checking materials against paperwork
- Organising steel into storage areas
- Keeping the yard tidy and running smoothly
- Preparing materials for dispatch
- Checking loads before shipment
- Reporting any damage or issues
- Supporting the growth of our new yard
About You
You don’t need steel experience – we’re interested in people from:
- Yard or warehouse environments
- Logistics
- Manufacturing
- Construction or outdoor roles

- Are reliable and hands-on
- Are comfortable working outdoors in all weather
