What you’ll be doing
Supporting the daily cash management of all group companies, including investment of surplus funds and the management of collateral.
Execution of Interest rate and FX swaps, money market investments, repo and securities in accordance with Market Risk Policy.
Execute Bank of England Sterling Monetary Framework operations, working closely with the Treasury ALM team to support the Bank’s liquidity and funding strategy.
Producing insightful, high-quality reporting and analysis to support decision-making by senior management and governance committees.
Running the banks hedging portfolio and assisting with hedging decisions.
Maintain and develop relationships with bank counterparties, brokers and corporate clients. Support with KYC and onboarding of new clients.
About You
What you’ll bring to the team
Degree in a numerate discipline, such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics or a related field (minimum 2:1)
Have strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends to support decision making.
Demonstrates a keen interest in financial markets and a proactive approach to staying informed and adapting to market developments.
Solid verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, delivering accurate and timely information to strict deadlines.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Power BI a plus!

Working hours
Monday to Friday - 8:30am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch), hybrid working on completion of probation.
