£37,000 Basic Salary | £45,000 OTE
Pembrook Resourcing is working with a well-established franchised dealership in Canterbury to find an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team.
This is an opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in doing a job properly and wants to work in a professional workshop where quality matters.
You'll be carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics across a modern vehicle range, working as part of an experienced team with strong manufacturer support and training.
What you'll be doing
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical information.
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying additional work where required.
- Working closely with the Workshop Controller and Service Advisors to ensure vehicles are completed on time.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer safety.
- Following manufacturer and dealership processes at all times.
- Keeping your technical knowledge and skills up to date.
- Working as part of a professional and supportive workshop team.
What we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician who takes pride in their work and understands what good looks like in a busy dealership workshop.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a franchised or independent automotive environment.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
- A professional approach and good communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
MOT qualification and manufacturer training are advantageous, but not essential.
