Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and organised Office Administrator to join our team. This role involves providing general office support, maintaining accurate records, processing customs clearances, and delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Carry out general office administration duties.
- Update and maintain internal systems and databases accurately.
- Process customs clearances using CNS, CDS, and DESTIN8 systems.
- Contact customers to provide updates on shipments and respond to enquiries.
- Handle incoming telephone calls and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaise with USAF personnel and HMRC regarding customs and shipment requirements.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in line with customs regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
- Provide administrative support to the wider team as required.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous administrative or office experience.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
- Professional and courteous telephone manner.
Desirable
- Experience using CNS, CDS, and DESTIN8.
- Knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
- Experience liaising with HMRC or other regulatory bodies.
