Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for clients and visitors. Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Change bed linens, organise supplies, and restock items as necessary.
- Dispose of rubbish and ensure waste is correctly segregated and removed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any repairs or shortages promptly.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexible approach to working hours; availability during weekdays is preferred.
