We are seeking a passionate and dedicated GCSE Science Tutor to inspire and support students in mastering key scientific concepts. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs in GCSE level science subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and exam requirements
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to maximize understanding and retention
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages curiosity, questions, and active participation
- Communicate clearly and effectively with students to clarify complex scientific concepts
- Track and document student performance, providing constructive feedback to students and guardians when appropriate
- Support students in developing effective study habits and exam preparation techniques
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching science subjects at the GCSE level or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children or young learners in an educational setting
- Knowledge of special education needs (SEN) and strategies for supporting diverse learning styles is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to explain scientific concepts clearly and motivate students
- Prior experience working with students preparing for exams enhances your suitability for this role
